Turkey chili and cheddar cheese are about as American as apple pie, but not often thought of as a healthy meal. By adding a serving of Salba to each bowl, each bowl has 100% of the RDA of omega-3s and about 20% of the RDA of fiber.
•1 1/2 lb ground turkey
•1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
•1 1/2 cup marinara sauce
•2 Tbsp Salba Ground Seed
•3 Tbsp chili powder
•1 cup white beans
§Blend all ingredients except cheese together in a large saucepan. Cook over high heat, bringing to a boil.
§Simmer for 30 minutes or until turkey is fully cooked.
§Fill serving bowls with chili and top with cheese.
